1.25-million-dollar US Air Force Commitment to Active Airmen wellbeing

     HitCheck, a mobile app that is used as a cognitive assessment tool by the healthcare providers and athletic trainers, has been awarded a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by AFWERX. AFWERX is a United States Air Force program which aims to foster innovation within the service. The contract will be performed with the 59th Medical Wing, San Antonio Military Medical Centre, Department of Orthopedics.

     HitCheck was selected by the DoD for a $1.25 Million award for its cognitive assessment aid for the US Air Force. HitCheck is working closely with its Air Force partner on the mission impact for the Air Force and the DoD to provide customized mobile, solution to aid in Airmen’s concussion screening, recovery and to fulfill the medical gap for servicemen.

     The goal of the project is to deploy HitCheck as a telemedicine platform to airmen to provide proper concussion assessment treatments. This is the fourth US Military award for HitCheck after receiving SBIR Phase I awards. An US Army contract developing the “HHITT Military” app for clinical trial is also there. HitCheck is also currently raising money and are accepting investors in an equity crowdfunding campaign through StartEngine platform. In the first 60 days, they have raised over $70,000.
