The upcoming CPHI & PMEC China event, scheduled for June at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, will host more than 3,000 exhibitors and over 55,000 attendees from over 110 countries. The co-located events will cover 15 sectors, providing an all-encompassing platform for the pharmaceutical industry. Jenny Leung, Regional Manager of Informa Markets, emphasized the event’s significance in fostering global partnering and addressing the growing international ingredients demand.
With China being the world’s largest market for pharmaceutical ingredients and starting materials, the event presents immense opportunities for global pharma industry players. The CPHI Annual Survey[2] showed a 25% improvement in China’s reputation for API manufacturing, placing it on par with leading European nations like Italy and France.
The event will also include PMEC, the largest pharmaceutical machinery event globally, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors, with 30% being new for 2023. Attendees will discover a wide array of products and technologies, such as laboratory and analytical equipment, tablet compressors, filling machines, and innovative continuous manufacturing technologies.
In addition to the exhibition, CPHI & PMEC China will host over 80 conference sessions, the 12th China-World CEO Summit, the InnoPack Awards China, the China-World Innovation and Development Forum, and International Regulatory Agencies Updates. These sessions aim to facilitate collaboration, innovation, and networking among global pharmaceutical professionals, further bolstering the global pharmaceutical industry’s growth and development.
