Empowering Women: Manasthali’s Innovative Approach to Mental Health and Wellness

Women often face unique mental health challenges, including gender-based violence, discrimination, and societal pressures. To address these challenges, Manasthali, a leading mental health and wellness platform, has launched a new initiative to support women’s mental health.

As part of the initiative, Manasthali has released a case study of Tulisha Sengupta (name changed), a 27-year-old working woman in an MNC in Gurugram who overcame severe anxiety and depression through cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Ms. Sengupta had been struggling with these symptoms for several months, which had started to interfere with her ability to function on a day-to-day basis. After undergoing a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, she was enrolled in a CBT program at Manasthali.

Through CBT, Ms. Sengupta learned how to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping mechanisms for dealing with stress and anxiety, and practice relaxation and mindfulness techniques. As the therapy progressed, she reported feeling more in control of her emotions and better equipped to manage the challenges of daily life.

According to a report by the World Health Organization, mental health disorders disproportionately affect women, with women being twice as likely to experience anxiety and depression as men.
