CEAT Specialty’s Ambernath plant has been awarded a five-star rating by the British Safety Council. The rating was given after a robust audit of the plant’s occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices. The audit included a review of the plant’s documentation, interviews with management and employees, and sampling of operational activities.
Mike Robinson, CEO of the British Safety Council, praised the achievement, stating that the award reflects a proactive organization committed to the continual improvement of health and safety arrangements. “It shows dedication to managing risks to workers’ health, safety, and wellbeing,” Robinson said.
